Out of Town Patients

Visitor Information and Virtual Consultation

If you are out of town we offer a Complementary Consultation to discuss your issues and determine your next steps. You can fill out this form and we will contact you to set up the call. Dr. McCain will call you at the number you provide and discuss your issues, your concerns and answer your questions about the possible procedures and the details surrounding it. Together you will then decide if the In-Person Consultation is the next step.

Please be advised that no photos, images or videos will be required before or during the your virtual consultation. A physical exam is required prior to any procedure or surgery. Our goal is to hold to the very highest standards of ethics and integrity in performing services for our patients and we will do all we can do to ensure your privacy and comfort leading up to, during and after any procedure.

After Your Virtual Consultation

Pre-operative appointment and Surgery Schedule: Once you and Dr. McCain have created your tentative treatment plan, you will work with our staff to coordinate your stay.

Pre-operative Visit: We will schedule an in-person appointment for your initial office consultation. At this appointment you will review your history and discuss your goals with Dr. McCain. This will also include a detailed physical examination. Pre-operative and post-operative forms, instructions, and consents will be sent to you for review prior to your surgery so they can be signed at this visit. Please review the packet in its entirety and call us with any questions. You will be able to have all of your questions answered and discuss any concerns at this appointment.

Surgical Visit: Your surgery will be scheduled for a time that works for your schedule. We do require that you have someone that you can rely on to stay with you in person for at least 24 hours after surgery. If you do not have someone that can travel with you, we can provide contact information for skilled nurses who can provide transportation and nursing care for at least 24 hours, or longer if needed.

Post-operative Visits and Recovery: Labiaplasty surgical patients must plan on staying in Abilene for at least 24-hours after surgery. That time might be extended depending on the complexity of your surgery. Post-operative plans and visits will be discussed with you prior to surgery so you are able to plan accordingly.
